ReCore: Official Release Date, Game Info, Trailer

Name: ReCore, Platforms: Xbox One, PC, Developer: Armature Studio, Comcept, Publisher: Microsoft, Genre: Action-adventure game

Release date: September 13th, 2016

A colourful 3D exploration game by Retro Studio people? Sign me up. Written by Joe Staten, one of the best video games writer. The size of the game is 130MB, where you pay only 40$, for 10 hours of fun.

If Recore is 10 hours of great fun and memorable experience, I think I am more than happy to have it than 20 hours of content with 10 hours genuine fun and 10 hours of padded content.

I have many games to play these days, I felt that I am starting to appreciate games that are short and great than lengthy ones with many padded content for the sake of lengthening the playtime for more “value”.

The ReCore team are hoping that by pricing the game at less than many other established titles, it will appeal to gamers who know nothing about the world in which it’s set.

As well as trying to get people to buy into the environment and the characters, there’s also a financial incentive of making a new intellectual property like this a success.

UPDATE:

Microsoft gave info on the minimum and recommended requirements for this game and I can tell you it’s not going to be enjoyable for those with low/mid budget PC. The Recommended requirements are not a science fiction because they are not too far away from the minimum requirements. You can see them below:

Minimum requirements

  • 8GB of RAM
  • GPU with at least 2GB of memory Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon R7
  • i5-4460 running at 2.7GHz or AMD FX-6300

Recommended requirements

  • 16GB of RAM
  • GPU with 4GB of memory – Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9
  • Intel Core i5 4590 at 3.9GHZ or AMD – similar to the i5

I feel kinda strange when it comes down to this game and can’t wait to see what really is going to happen when they release it.
