Steam Dev Days conference is going on right as we speak. This conference is focused on the developers. On one of the presentation today Jeff Bellinghausen made a public announcement. This statement was that Valve will make an update on the Steam Controller that adds DualShock 4 support.  It has been said that the console PS4 has a lot of overlapping functionality with this Steam Controller. There is an actual support, but it’s too unsteady.

The photo below shows PlayStation symbols, however, it’s important they’re mapped to the ABXY buttons of the Xbox One and Steam Controllers. It’s improbable we’ll see an icon switch in-game unless the game developer itself has modified the game to do as such.

But the great thing is that you can customize your Steam Controller. Downloading it from Steam will make this possible . By downloading this options, you are now able to make configurations and use it in the game.
While DualSHock 4 support will be released first due to the functionality overlap, the rest controllers are prepared to get Steam configuration.
A few months back, SONY released a wireless USB adaptor for DualShock 4, that connect the PS4 games with PC. But not every game offers functionality for the DualShock 4, and this means that it won’t work with these games.
