You might already know, might not, there will be a new update for ARK: Survival Evolved. The new Ark Survival Evolved Patch v253 should come to live somewhere around December 21.

There are players looking to get the new v253 patch as soon as possible and they look forward playing on it. On the other side there are players that are scared that after the update they will need to upgrade their GPU.

The New update should bring new Dinos to the game:

Troodon, Tusoteuthis, Pegomastax and Therizinosaurus. There is also going to be 2 new Underwater Caves. However, the most surprising for all the ARK: Survival Evolved players will be the new special surprise item. What we know so far is that the item will be related to the upcoming holidays and should look fun.

ARK: Survival Evolved Patch v253 General Fixes:

The update should also include and support DirectX12 mode for Windows 10 that will give around +20% of performance boost.

ARK: Survival Evolved developers are looking forward to releasing the new update and make the game even more fun by adding more creatures, weapons, gear, armor and new Structures.

Because this is an upcoming update, this is not the end. There are going to be even more new fixes and notes to come.

One last message: The players should not be scared at all! The game should be as playable as before and it should not decrease the performance. Also, it shouldn’t affect player’s experience at all, except making it even better.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
