First Look At Destiny 2 PC Gameplay, 60 FPS In 4K

Destiny 2 will be coming to Windows PC, and we all wonder if we will go back to playing on consoles.

Nvidia posted around 70 seconds of gameplay footage from Destiny 2’s mission, “Homecoming”, the same one that Bungie showed running on the PS4 during the reveal livestream that happened in mid-May. Take a look at the trailer below and let us know if you will be switching to the PC version.

The mission is occurring after a Cabal invasion of The Last City on Earth, with the player infiltrating a Cabal ship and fighting enemies from the Cabal Red Legion.

Its PC version will support many advanced visual features, which include 4K resolution support and an uncapped frame rate. This means that people with a graphic car that is strong enough will be able to run the game at 60 frames per second in 4K, or at a higher frame rate like 144 fps.

The PC version of Destiny 2 will be released October 24, seven weeks after the game debuts on PS4 and Xbox One on September 6th. It will be available through Blizzard Entertainment’s Battle.net.

Nvidia will be partnering with Destiny 2 publisher Activision for a special offer. Anyone who will buy a GeForce GTX 1080 or 1080 Ti, or a computer or laptop that has one, will receive a free copy of Destiny 2. The buyers will also get early access to the PC version’s beta, which will go live in late August.
