Microsoft is planning to add a game gifting to the Xbox One store very soon.
The vice president of Xbox One, Mike Ybarra, confirmed on his Twitter that this is “not far”. It sounds like the Xbox One users will get a game gifting quite soon.
Currently, neither Xbox One or PS4 has had the gifting feature, but however, Valve offers Steam gifts, which allows the users to buy a digital copy of a game for a friend.
The Xbox One users wanted the game gift feature for years. On the Xbox’s “request feature” page, there are almost 5k votes for the addition of a “ Gift to a Friend” purchase option.
