Pokemon Go: Unlock the Golden Tier Bonuses and Participate in the Mystery Challenge
On Saturday, July 22, Pokemon GO players will be able to participate in the special events at Grant Park in Chicago and all over the world to unlock the special bonuses, as a part of the Pokemon Go Fest.
Niantic revealed that there will be three challenge windows where the Pokemon Go players from the whole globe will try to catch as many Pokemon as they can. The challenge windows will be open from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, and 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM (CTZ).
The ones at Grant Park will give bonus modifiers for all Pokemon Go players by catching Pokemon of a specific type. When hitting gold tier, a mystery challenge will begin in Grant Park and will take place from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM (CTZ).
Niantic is keeping this challenge a secret, but it is quite possible that it has something to do with catching a legendary Pokemon. If this challenge is completed, it will unlock extra-special bonus for Pokemon Go players on a global level. This global reward will be available for the players from July 23 to July 24, which means that the players will have to wait a day to see what they got.
While the players struggled to complete the events in Pokemon Sun and Moon, it is more likely this one will be successfully unlocked. The tickets for the event sold out in 30 minutes, and Pokemon Go remains as one of the biggest mobile games available.
