Seems like Parents Ignore the Potential Threat of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds Age Rating
Like, let’s get serious on this one. Whenever I join a DUO or SQUAD game, there’s always a 13y old kid in the game screaming all over the place. It’s just terrible. Even though I was not able to find the official ESRB Rating, Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds offers blood and gore, therefore the ESRB Provisional Rating should be M, no matter what. For Mature, that should be at least 16 or 17+.
I thought like ok, we are going to jump into some random Duos and Squads and try to find good people on EU servers. What differs from the US population, it seems like European parents don’t even care about the future of their kids because most of the times I queue for a game, there’s a 13-14 year old kid in the game. What’s even more annoying is they are spoiling the whole experience for every player who simply doesn’t want to play solo.
On the other side of the story, this is not happening in the US. From time to time you may encounter a 13-14 year old teenager, but it’s not that usual as in EU. EU is crawling of teenagers under 16 year old which seriously bugs the h*** out of me.
The sad part in all of this is that no matter what the Age Rating is, there will always be 10y old kids playing Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds on a daily basis.
