League of Legends Weekly Tournaments Starting on Saturday, All Champions are Unlocked

It was announced on Tuesday that Microsoft is partnering with ASUS Republic of Games and HyperX to host the weekly League of Legends events at the Microsoft Store locations in the US, Canada, Puerto Rico and Australia.
The events will be open to all players, it does not matter what skill level they have, and also there will be games played on gaming laptops and peripherals provided by the Microsoft Store. The players can either sign up individually or as a team to enter in a single-elimination bracket to win prizes and participate in the giveaways.
The participants will be able to play League Unlocked, which will unlock all champions and champion skins while the event is happening. They will be also able to earn an extra 20 percent IP and 50 percent XP for their own League Of Legends accounts. The prizes will either be Riot Points, mystery icons, swag from ASUS or the Triumphant Ryze skin.
The events will start on Saturday, August 26. The sign-ups will be on a first-come, first-serve basis and the teams have to check in to guarantee a spot after the registration to keep an eight team maximum. At the Microsoft Store at Westfield Century City in LA, the players can meet two members of Echo Fox’s League of Legends team: Henrik “Froggen” Hansen and Brandon “Brandini” Chen
