Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds Suffers from Server Lag After the Latest Update

Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds’ server lag is just unbearable. This has been noted by Bluehole and it should be addressed today, but however, players are just getting frustrated from the server lag overall. The community, as most of the communities out there, it’s starting to become toxic. After the 4th monthly update, all of the fans are disappointed instead of being happy. This is the first time the optimists and pessimists are sharing quite a normal thoughts about Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds.

Playerunknown's Battlegrounds

“This update should’ve brought quite an amazing features to the game and also fix the rest of the known issues”. Even if Bluehole has released two more consecutive updates after the main one, it seems like the issue is still persistent.

What we know so far is that Bluehole has tracked the server lag issue and it should be fixed soon. Putting the sympathies aside, this should’ve never happened in first place. The time of the fix is unknown, but it should be addressed ASAP. We’re pretty sure it’s Bluehole’s priority at this moment.

How to avoid Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds Server Lag

Sadly, you cannot do anything on the client side to avoid this issue. The best option to do is to avoid jumping in a crowded area. After that, try to survive at least the first 5 minutes of the game. That’s the only way to continue playing without experiencing the annoying lag. This issue affects both the Third Person servers and First Person servers.

Even if there are other sound bugs going on like the Buggy’s sound bug where you cannot hear the actual wrinkle of the vehicle, the server lag is the priority that Bluehole should focus on fixing ASAP. Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds is one of the record breaking best selling game, and it shouldn’t allow this to happen in future.

After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
