Rainbow Six Siege Celebrates 20 Million Players
Ubisoft and their Rainbow Six Siege are celebrating 20 million registered players today. After the Second Season Operators, there’s something else to celebrate for. It’s important for Ubisoft and extremely important for the game’s community as Ubisoft celebrates the 20 million players in Rainbow Six Siege.
It’s a modern version of Counter Strike: GO, as we like to say it whenever someone’s asking what’s that game all about. Its latest Operation Health might be one of the main factors for reaching this number of players. After Operation Health ends, there’s going to be a new Operation, Hong Kong and will introduce three new Operators to the game. This just proves the never-ending Rainbow Six Siege era.
Rainbow Six Siege celebrates 20 million players
Ubisoft has clearly set up their focus on making a very stable product who’s supposed to be alive for a longer period of time. Despite the frustrations here and there, we honestly believe that story. Hitting the 20 million mark is not a joke. It means that things got more serious. This just proves that we shouldn’t expect any other new installment related to Rainbow Six Siege, except the incoming annual DLC’s which should add some new Operators and Maps in the game.
Things are heading the right way, as Ubisoft Decides to Upgrade the Servers so players should experience lower ping and much more stable matches. This is something we’ve been asking for over and over again. We’re more than glad that we’ve been heard, and we’re pretty sure that the HitReg issues will be gone on the new servers. Congrats to Ubisoft for achieving this milestone. This number of players require a lot of work, and we truly hope that Ubisoft will clinch it.
Rainbow Six Siege is a first-person shooter game, released in December 2015 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
