First thing first, the Mimikyu’s Hat. We can confirm that Mimikyu’s hat will be available during the spooky holiday. Although this is not Gen 2 or Gen 3 Pokemon, we are going to have the chance to get one and wear it for eternity. 🙂

Next on the list is the EX Raid. They are now canceled, so no Mewtwo for some. But, Trainers who got an invitation will receive extra items.

Blacklisted apps have been introduced in update v0.79.2, and it looks like Niantic can somehow get an information what apps are you using to “cheat”. But, who likes cheaters anyway?

What is very interesting is the Battle Party Feature. Pokemon Go Trainers can create a group of 6 Pokemon to use during Raids and Gym Battles. And as you can see above, adding the same Pokemon as a defender it will automatically be removed from your group of Pokemon.

For last, as you can see in the code, buddy distance requirement is mentioned and Walk {0} more km with this buddy.” This is because if you haven’t met the distance requirement, you can still evolve Eevee (it will become one of the original Eeveelutions). Events that affect buddy distance requirements (ie you’d get 2 candies after only 5 km) will not work, and walking 10 km in segments such that you don’t get 2 candies also will not work (ie you walk 3 km, switch, lose your distance, switch back, walk 7 km and get one candy total in 10 km total). It also won’t work if you don’t have the Eevee in question still set as your buddy.

Things are getting better and better, day by day!
