Destiny 2 Servers are Going Offline Today for Maintenance

Destiny 2’s servers are going offline today for maintenance starting for four hours, as announced by Bungie on their official Twitter account.

Bungie’s Destiny 2 will be offline today for four hours, starting at 8 AM PST until 12 PM PST. At 8:00 AM PST Destiny 2’s server maintenance will begin and players can’t log in to the game. After one hour, at 9:00 AM PST, players who are still in-game will be returned to the title screen. At 12:00 PM PST the maintenance is set to end and Destiny 2’s players can download the v1.0.7 patch and continue to play.

There is no info on the upcoming update, but we do know that is not related to Destiny 2’s upcoming Curse of Osiris.
