Pokemon Go Could Be Getting PvP Sooner Than you Think, Here is Why

A video was recently released by the Brazilian YouTuber named Leon. He is responsible for the popular channel “Coisa de Nerd”, and he posted a video in which he is revealing that Niantic is inviting other YouTubers to come to Japan to test some new Pokemon Go features.

Leon did not provide specific details, only that the test will involve traveling to many cities in Japan, even a helicopter ride is included in the trip.

Leon is not the first YouTuber that reveals Niantic’s upcoming plans. Other popular YouTuber “Reversal,” said on a livestream, which is now taken down, that he has information about what the new update in Pokemon Go contains.

Nick from “Trainer Tips” also said that he had two important meetings. By the looks of this, we are sure that Pokemon Go will have a new feature, and to perfect it, they are gathering their “mega-fans”.

We are guessing that the new feature in Pokemon Go is the PvP battles, one of the most requested features. The point of this feature is to have fun, and also see who is the best Trainer. Outside of the gyms and raids, there is nothing really competitive about Pokemon Go.

The PvP battles could totally freshen up the fanbase, and it will make its players quite happy. Aside from the wish for new Pokemon, most players want to battle their friends.

Here is the video (skip to 9:10) in Portuguese, but thanks to the Youtube translator, you can translate it into English.
