We have a certain theory about the mixing up all of the raid bosses.
Gen 3 is visiting Hoenn, so for this theory, we will call it the Hoenn Dex. We think that all of the new raid bosses we got are everything but random, and they maybe have a pattern with this certain dex.
- Tier 1 bosses cannot be caught in Hoenn.
- The tier 2 new raid bosses can be seen in Hoenn, and are also grouped with Gen 3 Pokemon Sableye.
- Also, Tier 3 Ninetails is obtainable, as Tier 4 Golem is too.
Maybe this concept will introduce a “Legacy Pokemon” style, which is clearing up wild spawns. This would give Gen 3 a chance when it will be released in December, as mentioned by Niantic. It would give the game a new focus, and maybe new tricks for the upcoming events. And adding in specific Pokemon as a shiny option would be quite neat.
This theory of ours is tricky and interesting, and we would love to hear your opinions about it.
