Star Trek: Bridge Crew Rescue at Perseph Available Now at IMAX VR Centre in LA, Later Coming to Shanghai, New York and Toronto

With the release of Star Trek: Bridge Crew, the standard for virtual-reality multiplayer has been moved upwards.

This game pushes four players to communicate and work together to control a Starfleet vessel, named U.S.S Aegis. Aegis will be available to IMAX VR Centres together with Star Trek: Bridge Crew Rescue at Perseph. Perseph is a version of the game that is redesigned and fully optimized for IMAX VR.

The game consists of four players who must work together as a team, to explore an unexplored piece of the space. They have the roles of a captain, an engineer, helm and tactical to issue commands, direct the power of the ship, steer the Aegis and control the weapons and shields. Star Trek: Bridge Crew Rescue at Perseph is currently available at the IMAX VR Centre in LA.

It is reported that it will come soon to other locations, and will also be available at the IMAX VR Centres in Toronto, UK and other worldwide locations.
