Ubisoft Berlin To Work on Far Cry Series Together with BlueByte

As previously announced by Ubisoft, two new development studios are opening in Europe, one based in Bordeaux, France and the second in Berlin, Germany. Today, Ubisoft’s development crew just got bigger with the opening of their studio in Berlin, Germany.
Germany is home to Ubisoft BlueByte, one of the most established names in German gaming community and a leader in PC strategy games. Ubisoft’s Berlin team will be working together with BlueByte on a new AAA project, starting with the Far Cry series.
The new Studio Manager is Istvan Tajnay, former Studio Operations Director at BlueByte, and he will be working together with Benedikt Grindel, Managing Director of Ubisoft BlueByte.
“Starting out with a high-quality franchise such as Far Cry is very exciting for a new studio, working alongside other Ubisoft studios around the world on Far Cry is a great honor and we can’t wait to roll up our sleeves!” – says Istvan Tajnay.
Ubisoft Berling will be hiring 50 new developers, so if you are interested to work for Ubisoft, you can apply here.
