9-Year-Old Donated Xbox Console to Those Who Needed It, Microsoft Responded With a Special Gift
Coming directly from the US, a humble story about a little boy who decided to buy 30 blankets, together with his grandmother, and donates them to a shelter for homeless people in Ashland, Ohio to a local charity “Ashland Church Community Emergency Shelter Services,” that previously helped him and his family.
Age 9, Mikah Frye, from Ashland, Ohio, was at some point homeless, and in one situation needed to leave his blanket behind. This is the reason why he decided to donate his $300 of a Christmas gift, to those in need. The boy also included handwritten notes along with each of the blankets.
This story came to Microsoft, and the Xbox team decided to reward Mikah for his actions. They sent him an Xbox One S console with the Minecraft bundle, which made the boy quite happy.
Well done Microsoft! Or should I say Santasoft?
You don’t ‘need’ a game console. This story is a few things, it isn’t what the writer wrote.
First off it’s a non story for ad revenue. Sad.
Second. Kids do this lame crap every year out of some strange spineless pity tought into them. Really, another kid ‘NEEDED’ an Xbox? And Microsoft came out with am artificially warm seasons greetings by handing out an Xbox. Think of every success story from poverty, it didn’t start with an Xbox. Quit pretending cute gestures are a replacement for a genuine solution.
