Gen 3 is Now Live in Pokemon Go, 50 New Pokemon and New Feature Available

The wait is now over Trainers, as Gen 3 is officially announced and confirmed by the Pokemon Go company, including 50 Pokemon, first seen in the Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire video games, as well as new feature, a weather system. Also, there is a new update available now on Android 0.85.1. Here you can see the changes and new additions.
50 new Pokemon from the Hoenn region, first seen in Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire video games, such as Treecko, Torchic and Mudkip as starters, and many more, are coming this week and they will be available to catch in the wild.
Here is a list of Gen 3 Pokemon that will start to spawn this week:

- Mudkip, Marshtomp, Swampert
- Zigzagoon, Linoone
- Lotad, Lombre, Ludicolo

- Wurmple, Silcoon, Beautifly, Cascoon, Dustox
- Ralts, Kirlia, Gardevoir
- Slakoth, Vigoroth, Slaking
- Skitty, Delcatty
- Gulpin, Swalot
- Mawile
- Plusle
- Minun
- Absol
- Seviper
- Zangoose
- Electrike, Manectric
- Poochyena, Mightyena
- Wailmer, Wailord
Also, there is a new weather system introduced, which will adapt to players’ local weather patterns. As the weather changes, the app will automatically change to sunny, rainy, snowy, foggy, partly cloudy or windy. The following Pokemon are stronger, appear more frequently and give bonus Stardust when caught:
- Rain – Water, Electric, Bug
- Snow – Ice & Steel
- Fog – Dark & Ghost
- Windy – Dragon, Flying, Psychic

What I personally find very interesting is that attacks of certain types will be more effective during some weather conditions. Sounds great, right?
