Monster Hunter: World Beta Starts on December 9 for PS Plus Members

Monster Hunter: World Beta was announced back on October 30 by Sony, during the Paris Games Week event, and Sony also shared details (exclusives to PlayStation) about the game. Today, as confirmed by Capcom, the PS4 Beta starts this weekend on December 9 at 9 AM PT, and will go throughout the weekend, ending on December 12 at 8:59 AM PT.
Starting on December 8, PS Plus owners can download the Beta, which will need 5.9 GB of free space and the next day, starting on from December 9 until December 12, players can enjoy 3 quests across 2 environments/places, the Ancient Forest and the Wildspire Waste.
In the Ancient Forest, you can hunt a fierce yet beginner-friendly Great Jagras or as a more experienced player confront the mighty threat of an Anjanath.
In the Wildspire Waste, a massive, dry expanse with swamplands, you can face off against the intermediate level mud-slinging Barroth.
Each of the 3 quests can be done solo or up to 3-man-party, and players will have a variety of weapons to choose from. Well, to be more precise 14 weapons. The same can be changed during the quests. In addition, finishing a quest will grant you a reward, that will be saved on your account and the progress and rewards will be transferred to the game.
Monster Hunter: World is coming on January 26, 2018, for PS4 and Xbox One. PC version is coming later in 2018.
