Steam’s Top Sellers and Most Played Games of 2017 List Revealed, H1Z1, Dota 2 and PUBG are Platinum

Valve has revealed the top 100 biggest earners in 2017 on Steam, measured by gross revenue, game sales, in-game transactions and DLC and the same are split into 4 different tiers.
There are 4 tiers in total as follows:
- Platinum – the top 12 video games of 2017
- Gold
- Silver
- Bronze
The top 12 sellers of 2017 on Steam are:
- H1Z1
- The Witcher 3
- Divinity: Original Sin 2
- Rainbow Six Siege
- Dota 2
- Ark: Survival Evolved
- Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
- GTA V
- Rocket League
- Warframe
- PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds
- Ghost Recon Wildlands
The second, Gold tier games in full are:
- Total War: Warhammer
- Assassin’s Creed Origins
- Stellaris
- Arma
- Civilization IV
- For Honor
- The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited
- Fallout 4
- Middle Earth: Shadow of War
- Dark Souls 3
- Nier Automata
- Call of Duty WWII

For last, Valve has also revealed a list of “Top VR-only experiences,” and list of most played games on Steam of 2017, divided into 4 groups:
- Over 100,000 Simultaneous Players
- Over 50,000 Simultaneous Players
- Over 25,000 Simultaneous Players
- Over 15,000 Simultaneous Players
