Legendary Pokemon Lugia is Back in Pokemon Go with a Improved Move for a Limited Time

The Legendary Pokemon Lugia is back in Pokemon Go for a limited time as announced by Niantic.
Lugia was the very first Legendary Pokemon in the game, and starting from March 16 until April 2 this Legendary Raid Boss is coming back, but this time with better, improved Flying Type move – Sky Attack. Also, Lugia’s base capture rate will be higher than the first time.
Now, when it comes down to what are the best counters against Lugia, nothing to worry about, I’ve got your back.
Top Counters
- Tyranitar with Bite/SE
- Raikou with TS/WC
- Mewtwo with Confusion/SB
- Zapdos with CB/Thunder or Thunderbolt
Ok Counters
- Absol with Snarl/DP
- Omastar with RT or WG/RS or RB
- Jolteon with TS/Thunderbolt
- Rayquaza with DT/Outrage
- Golem with RT/SE
Lugia is not so hard to beat, and most of the players already have at least one Lugia (those who attended the Pokemon Go Chicago Fest for sure).
From here we go to a very interesting question – will Niantic release its shiny form and make it the second shiny Legendary Pokemon in the game? This would definitely be something that most of the players want to see and of course catch.
Until any confirmation, stay with us and find out more.
