Nier: Automata has sold 2.5 million copies on PS4 and Steam together

Platinum Games has confirmed that Nier: Automata has successfully come to the 2.5 million copies sold mark on PS4 and PC/Steam together. This announcement has first appeared on their Japanese Twitter page, for which later was confirmed on the worldwide one.

While it may receive a negative feedback in the early days, Nier Automata has managed to sell over 2.5 million copies after a year since its launch. It is quite a big success for Platinum Games and Square Enix, and a potential to begin another series regarding the same title.

Nier: Automata positive’s feedback is inevitable, but one of the reasons for achieving this success is the recent 50% discount on Steam, for which surely boosted the sells and pushed the number to come this high.Nier: Automata discount is still available until tomorrow, and you have the chance to bring the glory to mankind if you haven’t done it before.
