Pokemon Go Players to Receive 3x Stardust and 6x XP During Bulbasaur Community Day on March 25

Pokemon Go’s Bulbasaur Community Day event is going live on March 25, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM CEST, and during this period players around the world will have an opportunity to catch Bulbasaur, earn 3x Stardust and 6x XP, thanks to the special Egg event, Eggstravaganza.
During this 3-hour time, Bulbasaur’s spawn rate will be increased, there will be 3x catch XP and 3h lures. Also, after evolving Ivysaur into Venusaur, your Venusaur will learn Frenzy Plant, as an exclusive move. Frenzy Plant is 100 energy 2.8s duration, putting Venusaur as #2 Grass attacker, 5% DPS behind Exeggutor with equivalent TDO. In addition, those who are interested in finding a 100% Bulbasaur, check out this guide and find out more.
Just don’t forget, if you think that is better to just TM a Venusaur and save candies, don’t do it, because TMs and Charged TMs will not grant exclusive moves during Community Day. In order to learn this special move, players have to catch or evolve the special Pokemon, in this case, Bulbasaur.
Pokemon Go Eggstravaganza event starts on March 22 at 1:00 PM and will end on April 2 at 1:00 PM PDT. During this period, Pokemon Go players will see the following:
- Double Stardust
- Bonus Candy from hatching
- Special 2km Eggs to feature 5km and 10km Pokemon
- Special Boxes Sale
The Community Day event and the Eggstravaganza event are overlapping. This means that during the 3h event on March 25 Pokemon Go players will receive Double Stardust (as high as x3 Stardust with Starpiece), 3x catch XP (as high as 6x with Lucky Egg) and extra candy from Eggs. Sounds great, right?
For last, just a reminder, previous month, Team Mystic dominated Community Day by catching the most Pokemon per player. Team Instinct and Team Valor are you ready to recover and win this time? You better get ready and catch ’em all!
