The new Kanto event will go live on April 10 at 1:00 PM PDT for a week, until April 17, revealed the official Pokemon Go website.
- Kanto Starters will appear more frequently
- Snorlax and Aerodactyl return as raid Bosses
- Double Candy for Catching and Transfering Pokemon
- Bundles with Raid Passes will be on sale (in-game shop).
During this one week event, Pokemon Go starters like Squirtle, Charizard and Bulbasaur will be with increased spawn rate, and players will encounter two new Gen 1 Raid Bosses – Snorlax and Aerodactyl.
Also, 2x Candy will be active during the Kanto region event for catching and transferring Pokemon, and special boxes will be on sale.
This means that we were right about a “new event is going live,” but unfortunately wrong about the shinies and regional Pokemon. But knowing Niantic, everything is possible – they might surprise us!
