Warcraft 3 New Update 1.29 is Now Live, Adds Widescreen Support and a Lot More

Warcraft 3 is officially widescreen. This new update has been in a test form since February and it has a widescreen support to the fantasy RTS.

In order to prevent stretching, bookends have been added to the in-game interface. The lobbies can now support 24 players. There are a lot of balance changes and you can check them out on Battle.net.

Blizzard announced that this is the last version of Warcraft 3 that will support Windows XP, which got us thinking that there might be more updates for the game.

Rumors have been circling around that Blizzard will announce a remaster of Warcraft 3. It all makes sense because they released StarCraft: Remastered in July 2017 and it was successful. So we are expecting that with Warcraft 3 will be the same scenario.
