After the previously miss-informed Battlefield V’s minimum system requirements, we now have the official ones

Electronic Arts’ Battlefield V is probably the next best and most anticipated video game title. However, there was one issue that was buzzing the fans. The PC minimum system requirements. Well, the problem has finally been closed as DICE have revealed the official minimum system requirements for Battlefield V.

During E3 2018, it was believed that the official PC requirements for the game are published. However, it turned out that it was just a placeholder and as such did not confirm the veracity of the same. The developers sent their apologies and we have been left yet again with no certain info on the minimum needed specs.

Knowing that Battlefield 5 will include a Battle Royale mode, is pretty much debatable on whether or not the minimum specs will be enough for players to enjoy playing that particular mod. However, enough talking, let’s continue with the actual content.

The published specs are for the Closed Beta only, for which leaves a space to believe that the official game release will need more tightened requirements. Below you can find the official minimum system requirements for Battlefield V:

Minimum requirements:

  • Operating System: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10
  • Processor (AMD): AMD FX-8350
  • Processor (Intel): Core i5 6600K
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Graphics card (NVIDIA): NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 1050 / GTX 660 2GB
  • Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon™ HD 7850 2GB
  • DirectX version: 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent
  • Internet: 512 KBPS or faster, stable Internet connection
  • Free hard-drive space: 50GB

Recommended specifications:

  • Operating System: 64-bit Windows 10
  • Processor (AMD): AMD Ryzen 3 1300X
  • Processor (Intel): Intel Core i7 4790 or equivalent
  • Memory: 16GB RAM 12GB RAM
  • Graphics card (NVIDIA): NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 1060 3GB
  • Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon™ RX 480 4GB
  • DirectX: 11.1 Compatible video card or equivalent
  • Internet: 512 KBPS or faster, stable Internet connection
  • Free hard drive space: 50GB

What we can conclude it definitely seems a bit spicy. Not anyone can afford a gaming rig of the “recommended” caliber and therefore fans may already be disappointed.
