Alexa and Google Support Coming to Xbox One

We are surrounded by Amazon’s Alexa and Google’s Assistant. They are in our gadgets, in our vehicles, kitchens. It turns out that we might see Alexa and Google’s Assistant on another piece of technology: gaming consoles.
It was recently uncovered that Microsoft will include Alexa and Google Assistant in the upcoming Xbox One. The console has a support for Cortana, which is the voice assistant of Microsoft, but due to leaked pictures that show a new window where you can enable all three voice assistants, leads us to think that Alexa will haunt us everywhere.
“To get started, enable digital assistants below, then search for Xbox in the assistant app’s skills on your phone,” the page says. This means that the users will have to download a specific skill in the Alexa and Google Assistant apps in order to work properly in the console. We do not know yet what will these skills enable for the voice assistants. We think that it will enable the player to navigate the interface of Xbox, pause or launch a game, and many other things.
Microsoft has teamed up with Amazon to integrate Alexa with Cortana. This will add support for Alexa and Google Assistant which will bring back voice control to their most popular gaming console.
We hope that they will announce more details at this year’s E3.
