Pokemon Go Upcoming Events in the US in July 2018

Niantic and Pokemon Go are planning to host new events in the following month (July), and keeping track of what’s coming next in the game is always a great idea.

There are six new events coming in July in the US and here is what this month has to offer.

June 30 – July 1

Dortmund Safari Zone and Global Challenge #1:

  • Complete 5,000,000 Research tasks;
  • Earn extra Raid XP, Hatch XP and Catch XP;
  • Grass and Poison Type Pokemon will be with increased spawn rate;
  • Shiny Roselia;
  • Global Rewards will be active from July 2 until July 9.

July 7

  • Completing Global Challenge #1 will bring back Articuno as a Raid Boss for 3-hours. In addition, shiny Articuno will be also available;
  • Trainers will get five free Raid Passes.

July 8

  • #7 Community Day featuring Squirtle, its shiny form, and possible Squirtle Squad (sunglasses Squirtle).

July 14 – July 15

PoGo Fest 2018 in Chicago and Global Challenge #2:

  • Trapinch, Feebas, and other Pokemon featured in the habitats of Pokémon GO Fest will appear more frequently all over the world during that weekend;
  • Plusle and Minun, will also appear more frequently worldwide as Trainers complete themed Field Research tasks. Catching Plusle and Minun will result in bonus Stardust, and lucky Trainers might even discover their Shiny versions;
  • That weekend Alolan Diglett and Alolan Geodude will be appearing globally for the first time in Pokemon Go;
  • Possible Unown and Torkoal event.
  • Complete 5,000,000 Research tasks;
  • Global rewards will be active starting from July 16 until July 23;
  • Celebi as Special Research reward.

July 19

  • The Legendary Ice Type Pokemon Regice is leaving us, and new Legendary Pokemon is on its way.

July 23

  • Ultra Bonus unlock if Global Challenge #2 is completed.

July looks like a fun month to play Pokemon Go, so let’s enjoy the summer and catch ’em all!
