The Division 2 to Reborn the Assault Drone

The Division and its reveal back in 2013 have received quite a positive feedback, especially after witnessing the drone gameplay at E3. It was allegedly proven that it would be available in the original Division, but for some reason, it was removed upon release. It was supposed to be controlled by another piece of a device such as Tablet. Well, none of that happened, and that’s why it’s about to become available in The Division 2.

If you have forgotten the exact reveal trailer which proves a footage of a drone being controlled from a Tablet, you can watch it below:

While all of that drowned into the water, The Division 2 is here to recall whatever was left behind. Therefore, the Assault Drone is going to be among the new surprises in Division 2. Many questions have been circling when it comes to the Drone Gameplay. The drone won’t be controlled by a tablet but will be somewhat a unique ability, which will allow players to hook onto a target and perform an aerial attack.

Before a couple of hours, The Division 2 official Twitter profile has shared this piece of information, showcasing the new Assault Drone and its ability. It’s another confirmation that the Assault Drone is about to make an appearance in Division 2. However, we do not know if there’s going to be a chance of being influenced by a third party device such as a Tablet or a Mobile Phone. For that, we’ll have to at least wait until the official Beta phase.

So far, it has been proven that The Division 2 Beta event is already the most popular attraction in Ubisoft’s history. Therefore, we’re excited to taste its official Beta whenever it becomes available to play.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
