The Division 2 Beta is Already The Most Popular Event in Ubisoft’s History

Ubisoft brings a new surprise to the table. Despite The Division 2 is far away from an official release, Ubisoft is proud to announce that the Beta event for The Division 2, which provided registration for, has already managed to gather more people than any other previous game in Ubisoft’s history. Therefore, this is the most popular Beta event ever in the eyes of Ubisoft.

Believe it or not, the upcoming Division 2 Beta event already associated four times more registrants than ever game before in the publisher’s history. The previous highest count under Ubisoft’s belt for a Beta event was held by its predecessor, The Division, during 2015.

This has been concluded thanks to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot who stated that sign-ups are still active, despite the official Beta release date is still unknown. It inevitably brings a glimpse of 2015, when many people were fighting to get a free pass to the Beta of The Division. Well, this plainly states the game’s current state and player’s desire towards The Division 2.

Unlike its predecessor and the original story which still goes throughout its sequel, The Division 2 is ready to introduce us to new weapons, factions to beat, and a whole and more open map environment.

Taken into consideration that the Beta event includes all platforms, it is expected the number to grow even more significant than what it is now. It certainly won’t damage the current success at any point, unless this high amount of people manage to choke the servers when the Beta release occurs.

However, it is quite common to see this success following The Division 2, since no matter how sloppy The Division was after its release, it still held its vast potential. Will Division 2 be the most popular game ever released by this publisher? It remains to be seen, and we’re here to witness its success. The Division 2 will release on March 15 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
