This is the Police 2 will come on PC, Linux and Mac on 2nd August. This sequel will have a new location, new sheriff and also a new gameplay mechanic which will be providing a different policing experience than the original one. THQ Nordic also announced that the sequel will be released on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo switch, later this year.
In this new sequel, players are able to travel to the cold frontier town called Sharpwood, to follow the journey of the new sheriff, Lilly Reed. Unlike the sheriff in the original game, this one is not overwhelmed with the red tape and bureaucracy, which will provide her a direct control of her officers.
It is said that just like the first game, This is the Police II is a mixture of adventure and management genres. But this time around, the police officers will not be treated as a resource. In the sequel, they are counted as individuals with flaws of their own.
During the quite dangerous call outs, the game will switch to a turn-based combat mode. This will enable the players to walk their officers into exciting positions and make arrests.
