The Delay of the High Stakes in Fortnite is Because of a Critical Controller Issue

With the new update and the possibility to act as Spider-Man in Fortnite, right before the release of the actual video game created by Insomniac Games, it is a quite interesting situation. The new item, the Grappler, is finally available in the game and allows the players to grip to their favorite height without even bother to build their way to the wanted destination.

Thanks to the 5.4 update, we now have the chance to experience the life of Spiderman in Fortnite. However, the upcoming and long-awaited game mode High Stakes is not available with this patch, delaying the official release date because of a controller issue encountered at the last moment. Epic Games has decided to cut down the release of High Stakes instead of swirling down into more problems during 5.4.

Epic Games has also announced the suspend of High Stakes on their official Twitter profile, which it has to come at a later stage. While it may not be too far away, it is still somewhat 48 hours starting today. The new game mode will become available on Thursday, 09/06/2018. You can find the official tweet below:

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
