Pokemon Go Beta Test of PokeStop Nomination System to Launch in Brazil and South Korea

PokeStop nomination Beta test is now officially confirmed and players from Brazil and South Korea will be the first to test this new feature soon.

TL;DR

  • The beta test of PokeStop nomination system will soon go live in specific regions;
  • Submission will be limited to level 40 Trainers (child accounts excluded) in Brazil and South Korea;
  • Submissions will be reviewed by experienced users in the Ingress Operation Portal Recon (OPR).

Just yesterday Niantic’s business developer Omar H. Tellez for the LATAM region shared on Twitter about this new feature, and today, Niantic has officially announced the Beta testing.

As confirmed on the official PoGo website, this feature will be available only for Lvl 40 Pokemon Go Trainers (child accounts excluded) and Trainers who meet these requirements will be able to nominate potential PokeStops by submitting photographs and descriptions of the locations.

This submission will be reviewed by experienced users in the Ingress Operation Portal Recon, which means more work for the OPR people to do.
