5 more days until Battlerite Royale goes free-to-play

It was supposed to be a brand new Arena MMO taste within the Battle Royale genre. Yes, I tried to phrase that correctly no matter how awkward it sounds. Battlerite was first founded as a MOBA, from which the developers grew a fresh new Battle Royale game. Named as Battlerite Royale it was the first within the genre to include a top-down camera with various character abilities in form of items found across the map.

Long story short, the game did notice a hick-up since the very launch. Not many players escorted the hype appropriately, which fairly said resulted in a low player base. After looking at all of the free-to-play video games that offered a lot better content than Battlerite itself, it became much clearer the consumers find f2p games a lot more affordable. A pure sense.

Therefore, the developers behind Stunlock Studios have stated that more changes are on their way, and they’re about to land on February 19. The same day when Battlerite Royale will receive a transformation to a free-to-play video game.

Battlerite Royale goes Free to Play on February 19th, and the celebration is happening across the Island and within the Arenas! Check out the Free to Play launch trailer now!

Huge gameplay changes are also coming on the 19th – and not all of them are on Talon Island!

Experience faster movement in the Arena, customize every round with the new Armory, and risk it all with the brand new Overload ability.

Find Talon Island changed in Battlerite Royale, and the final three Champions from the Battlerite roster making their grand arrivals.

Both Battlerite and Battlerite Royale will receive massive changes with an expectation of bringing freshmen into Battlerite and Battlerite Royale. What are your thoughts on this one? Tell us in the comments below!

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
