Previous Story February 13: Trainers and Pokemon fans in general, we have some cool news for you. What if we tell you that Pokemon do really exist and can be seen only through a special “Pokemon Scope” in Tokyo? Would you care to know more? I know I would.
The Pokemon Company and Niantic will be hosting a limited time special event at Roppongi Hills Observatory “Tokyo City View” on the 52nd floor from February 23 until March 3. During this time, participants can look through the special “Pokemon Scope” (Microsoft Hololens tech) and search for Pokemon that blends in real space. Yes, you will see them walking, jumping, flying, swimming and more. Sounds great, right? Just like in the movies!
This is a free event, however, there will be a Tokyo City View Admission Fee as confirmed by Media Ambition Tokyo:
- 1,800 yen for the city view entrance and no extra price for the Pokemon viewing ($16 – $17)
- Pokemon fans over 65 – 1,500 yen ($13 – $14)
- Students – 1,200 yen ($10 – $11)
- Kids (4 to middle school) – 600 yen ($5 – $6)
This event does not require any mobile device or Pokemon GO account. But please have your phone with you, take some cool pictures and share it with us! We would appreciate it!
