Trainers, a new Pokemon Go Day event has been announced and starting tomorrow, February 26 at 1:00 PM PST until Thursday, February 28 at 1:00 PM PST, players around the globe will see increased spawn rate of Kanto region Pokemon, Kanto Raid Bosses, new shiny Pokemon and two Pokemon as a Field Research encounters wearing flower crowns.
Niantic and Pokemon Go are celebrating 23 years since the first launch of Pokemon games with a special, limited time event. During the above mentioned time, players will see:
- Increased spawn rate of Kanto region Pokemon
- Kanto Pokemon as Raid Bosses
- Pikachu and Eevee wearing flower crowns. They can be encountered both as Field Research encounters and in the wild
- Two new shiny Pokemon – Pidgey and Rattata (see image below for comparison)
