The new PvP mode is live in Pokemon Go and many players are wondering what are the best Pokemon to use on the battlefield.

With the PvP mode in the game, players are able to fight their friends by using teams of three Pokemon. This feature has many new mechanics like Protect Shield, a second charge move, charging up and swapping a Pokemon during the battle.

The battles are divided into Leagues – Great League, Ultra League and Master League, which split the Pokemon by their Cp. Any Pokemon with a CP of 1,500 or less can be used in the Great League. The Pokemon that have 2,500 or less can be used in the Ultra League and in the Master League, the player can use any Pokemon he or she wishes.

This new introduction of the PvP Battling brings up an entirely new way of thinking about the ranks of the Pokemon.
