UPDATE Pokemon Go Valentine’s Day Event Now Confirmed

UPDATE 3 (February 13): Trainers, shiny Smoochum and Cleffa are now obtainable from Egg Hatches.

UPDATE 2 (February 13): Three new Valentine’s Day event quests are now live:

  • Catch 20 Luvdisc – encounter Chansey
  • Make 5 Great Curve Throws in a row – encounter new Heart Spinda form
  • Catch a Chansey – reward 3x Rare Candy

UPDATE 1 (February 13): Pokemon Go’s Valentine’s Day event is now officially confirmed. Stardust PokemonGo Twitter account has been right again. Here are the details:

  • February 13 until February 21
  • Pink Pokemon with increased spawn rate
  • Some pink Pokemon will hatch from 7km Eggs
  • Some pink Pokemon will be Raid Bosses
  • 6-hours Lures
  • 2x Catch Candy

For last, we expect to see shiny Spinda too.

Previous Story: Trainers, rumors started to spread that Niantic is preparing to launch new, limited time Valentine’s Day event this month – from February 13 until February 21 featuring new bonuses and new shiny Pokemon.

Please have in mind that this is just a tease and a hint, 0% confirmed and 0% a leak!

The rumors are spreading as the popular Twitter account Stardust PokemonGo posted a “leak” for this year Valentine’s Day event. Now, this channel is known for “leaks” and has been 100% right thus far. They leaked the December Community Day event, Shiny Zigzagoon, Shiny Groudon, Water Festival event, Eggstravaganza event, Adventure Week event and more.
