Pokemon Go Earth Day Event 7,000 Players Goal Reached, Shiny Diglett and Groudon are Coming

Trainers, the Earth Day campaign has ended and as now confirmed by Niantic we’ve reached the 7k task and unlocked shiny Digglet, Groudon as a Raid Boss and 2x Stardust and Candy for event spawns.
Niantic announced the Earth Day campaign on March 26, 2019, and the campaign started on April 13. During the three week campaign, over 14,800 Ingress and Pokemon Go players participated in clean-up events all over the world.
Over 14,800 @Ingress & @PokemonGoApp players participated #EarthDay cleanups around the world over the past 3 weeks. What an incredible turnout! As a result of this hard work, amazing in-game rewards will soon be available in both games. #AugmentingReality https://t.co/vz68Fs9hlP
