Team Sonic Racing Character Type Reveal Trailer

Everybody loves Sonic. Just a day before release, we get to be introduced to the characters in Team Sonic Racing. Well, for a kart racing game, it is probably one of the most hyped ones. The fact that it’s a spinoff from Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog series could do anything. Therefore, we have the first character reveal by Sumo Digital.

Character choosing and customization may be of huge value in a video game, and Team Sonic Racing is here to introduce us with 3 different types of racers. They are divided on Speed, Technique, and Power.

Each category will have different characters assigned to it. Let’s take a look at all of them below:

Speed:

  • Sonic, Shadow, Blaze, Metal Sonic, Amy – Characters that have a higher top-speed so they could put the speed in their favor.
  • Exclusive Pick-Up item: Burst

Power:

  • Big, Knuckles, Zavok, Vector, Omega – Ability to get rid of any obstacle without slowdowns.
  • Exclusive Pick-Up item: Spikes and Void

Technique:

  •  Eggman, Chao, Silver, Tails, Rouge – Enhanced handling that allows a to take corners a lot smoother while dangerous terrain won’t cause a significant speed drop.
  • Exclusive Pick-Up item: Rhytm

Team Sonic Racing is coming out tomorrow. The third-person kart-racing game will be available on PC, PS4, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
