Amazon lists Watch Dogs Legion – to be set in London
Ubisoft remain silent, leakers appear everywhere, and it is somewhat common to notify leak on Amazon, as it is definitely not the first one. We haven’t seen any new content from the Watch Dogs series, nor has been revealed by Ubisoft. Watch Dogs Legion, has appeared on Amazon UK for the first time as a PS4 listing.
This appearance proves us the name of the upcoming series, for which everyone believed it will be tagged as Watch Dogs 3. Legion was first believed to be a part of the Assassin’s Creed series, so it may be a huge coincidence but also a hard rumor.
There hasn’t been a solid statement by Ubisoft on this matter. The possibility of seeing another Watch Dogs title is quite high, and the chance to be set un the UK is inevitable. More precisely, having the freedom to roam in an open world could be very pleasing, as that’s what Ubisoft aims in every Watch Dogs title.
The first leaked piece of info was holding proof that players will be eligible to play with any NPC in London, which also makes it kind of suspicious.
Play as anyone. Every individual you meet in the open world, has a full set of animations, voice over, character traits and visuals that are generated & guided by gameplay system.
Being one of the most iconic cities in the world, London could have a strong influence on gamers, especially if it’s properly reflected. But, a couple of alterations to its shape have been also provided, and it is confirmed to be set in the near future. With all of the current existing surveillance system in London, it makes complete sense why would the next Watch Dogs game be set in London.
On the other side, Kotaku’s Jason Schreier has confirmed that the listing is real, and the name of the title has been leaked by insiders as well. But, we’ll probably find out more at this year’s E3, as we’re getting closer to its go time. Ubisoft will have their presentation at 1PM PT/9PM UK time.
