Dota Underlords finally enters in day one of the Open Beta, with an update that combines a set of improvements on each platform. Now that the game released on Mobile too, it will allow cross play against the PC players. This makes Dota Underlords Valve’s first game ever to release on the mobile platform using the Source 2 engine.

As the official Dota Underlords website confirms, there is a Battle Pass in the schedule, but also a variety of cosmetics that will provide specific customization of the Board, heroes, and more. Below you can find the official patch Open Beta Release Day patch notes.

Dota Underlords is a Chess Game that combines strategic components and mechanics to undertake the battle to the next level. Compared to the very original Auto Chess, Dota Underlords packs improved animations and AI behavior, which in the long run truly matters. Characters will react willingly to your designation, as it will put your struggles to a minimum.

Just imagine what else could be coming to Dota Underlords. Even if the game has a massive RNG kick to it, combining your forces still requires knowledge. Combined with luck, overtaking a previous throne holder won’t be of a surprise. As announced, in-game built Tournaments will be a part of Dota Underlords, allowing players to compete for a price destined by Valve.

Dota Underlords is probably the next best Auto Chess, with combinations of races, classes, and global cards.
