Pokemon Go New Shiny Pokemon Coming in July

Trainers, July is right around the corner and it seems like we’re going to have a “shiny month.”

There are a lot of new shiny Pokemon coming in July, some from Community Day event, some from repeating events, some from Field Research tasks and some when collecting the 7 stamps.

First on the list are Latios, Latias, Kyogre, and Groudon. Starting from July 1, these Legendary Pokemon will be available as Special Research Breakthrough encounters and Niantic will most likely release their shiny forms.

On July 4, Slakoth and its shiny form are coming back for a limited time, only in the EMEA region. This is due to gameplay issues that impacted the EMEA region during the Slakoth Community Day event on June 8, 2019.

Pokemon Go Fest Dortmund is going live from July 4-July 7 and we most likely are going to see three new shiny Pokemon, Please have in mind that the following Pokemon are confirmed to have increase spawn rate during the event, but shinies are not confirmed:

  •  Cranidos
  • Toxicroak
  • Bronzong
  • Nidoran M

There is also the Candela’s XP Research Challenge and completing it will unlock cool rewards and Shiny Entei. I’m 99% sure that we’re going to complete the tasks and unlock Shiny Entei.
