Pokemon Go Storage Increased to 3,000, Item Capacity Increased to 2,500

Update November 22, 2019: Trainers, the maximum Pokemon storage has been increased to 3,000 and item capacity to 2,500. This could mean that new Gen 5 Pokemon might be coming to Pokemon Go very soon, but nothing is officially confirmed at this moment.

Previous Story July 30, 2019: Trainers, Niantic and Pokemon Go listened to our ‘prayers’ and they’ve now increased the Pokemon storage.

Pokemon Go shared very exciting news on their official Twitter account which will put a smile on our faces. They confirmed that the limit on Pokemon storage has increased and it’s now 2,500.

They should have done this a few months ago, or before they released Team Go Rocket, but better later than never, right?

RIP to all Legendaries we’ve transferred to prepare for the Shadow Pokemon event. You’ll be missed.
