Pokemon Go Adventure Sync 2.0 Now Live in North America
Trainers, the newest Adventure Sync v2.0 is now live in North America as reported on the official TSR subreddit.
The Adventure Sync v2 was released earlier this month and was available only for players from Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia.
Now, it’s available for players from North America.
So, what is Adventure Sync?
Adventure Sync is an optional mode that will allow you to record your kilometers traveled even when the Pokemon GO app isn’t open. You’ll be able to stay active and earn Buddy Candy or hatch Eggs without significantly impacting your device’s battery life. When your Buddy Pokemon has found Candy or when an Egg is about to hatch, you can enable to receive a push notification. As an added bonus, you’ll get weekly fitness reports to track your progress as well as earn rewards for reaching weekly milestones. Adventure Sync is available for Lvl5 and above.
Adventure Sync V2.0 Features
As per reports on TSR:
- Players will receive a notification that says “Looking for nearby Pokemon.” Reports are saying that this notification can’t be clicked or swiped away. This can be toggled under the Push Notification options in the game’s settings
- AS v2.0 can find nearby new Pokemon even while the game is closed
- Most probably we will get notified for every Pokemon. It would be great if we can select which ones we would like to be notified of.
- The AS v2.0 will be useful when they launch the new Gen 5 Pokemon
We’re not sure what’s changed with the new AS v2Â at the moment and we’re gathering more info. As soon as we have something, you’ll be the first to know!
