Commandos inspired game Dog Duty to be published on Steam by SOEDESCO

Soedesco has announced that Dog Duty is now available in Early Access on Steam. Dog Duty is a Commandos inspired game, and its currently facing its final stages of development, with further development studios teaming with SOEDESCO to bring the product to a polished level.

In Dog Duty, players have the opportunity to control a squad of three characters, destroy installations and tackle evil octo-bosses.  Having transport vehicles spread across the world, players can scavenge and use them for travel.

This beginning phase of the polishing carries a huge chunk of decisions based on the community feedback, which drives the developers to create the perfect game title.

Some of the essential features of the game are:

  • Assemble a 3-person squad and fight in Real-Time Squid combat
  • Liberate outposts to cut-off weapon, armor, and other octo-supplies
  • Defeat epic bosses and kill your way to the Evil Octopus Commander
  • Fight on top of your armored octo-frying vehicle while driving

As the press release reads:

Fun, fast-paced Real Time Tactics game Dog Duty is going to be published by SOEDESCO on Steam® and is now available for Early Access. As the game is in its final development stages, Zanardi&Liza teamed up with SOEDESCO to polish and further improve the game based on what players want. Zanardi&Liza is a Brazilian indie development studio that passionately started working on Dog Duty, which is their biggest project to date. They took their inspiration from games and series such as Commandos and G.I. Joe.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
