Pokemon Go Global Challenge Stardust Bonuses and Shiny Suicune Unlocked

Update August 9, 2019: Trainers, we have successfully completed the third Global Challenge and unlocked the following bonuses:

• 3× Catch Stardust
• 3,000 Stardust per raid
• 3× Hatch Stardust
• 1-hour Star Pieces
• Shiny Suicune

The bonuses will run from Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at 1 p.m. until Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at 1 p.m. PDT.  Suicune and its Shiny form will be available in raids on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at 4:00 PM local time.

Previous Story August 6, 2019: Trainers, the third Go Fest event in Yokohama is now live and Pokemon Go revealed the progress for Blanche’s Global Research tasks and the score looks very promising. The score shows that we’re on the right track to complete the third Global Challenge event before Go Fest event ends.

The third stage of the Global Challenge event is now live and players around the globe are giving their best to complete as many as research tasks they can to earn cool rewards such as Catch Stardust, Hatch Stardust, Star Pieces and unlock Suicune and its shiny form.

Here is the score (numbers in red)  at this moment:

• Completed – Pokemon GO Fest Yokohama event attendees—Complete 2 million research tasks to unlock 3× Catch Stardust
• Completed – Team Instinct—Complete 25 million research tasks globally to unlock guaranteed 3,000 Stardust per raid
• Completed – Team Valor—Complete 25 million research tasks globally to unlock 3× Hatch Stardust
• Completed – Team Mystic—Complete 25 million research tasks globally to unlock 1-hour Star Pieces

All successfully unlocked bonuses will run from Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at 1 p.m. until Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at 1 p.m. PDT. Unlock all the above bonuses, and Suicune will be available in raids on Saturday, August 17, 2019 (time to be announced later). If you’re lucky, you might encounter Shiny Suicune!
