Pokemon Go Unova Stone, Competitive Ranking System, Buddy System Rework and More

Trainers, new items and new features have been discovered within the new update v0.153.0 and thanks to the greatest Pokemon Go dataminer Chrales, we can share these findings with the rest of the community.

Chrales discovered 3 new items:

• Route Maker: Probably players can create an interesting route of PokeStops for players to walk. This is just our guess and more details will be coming soon.
• VS Seeker Upgrade:  This item can be used for detecting Trainers who would like to battle/rematch
• Unova Stone: Evolution item for Gen 5 Pokemon

Chrales also discovered:

• All Gen 5 Pokemon added
• Shadow Pinsir
• Route Creation System
• Buddy System Rework (feeding emotions, encounters)
• Competitive Ranking System

We’re not sure when these new features will go live, but we do know that the first wave of Gen 5 Pokemon is coming as part of the Ultra Bonus the third week in September.
