In the coming period, as NetherRealm has announced, the game will add three-player Raids. Called Team Raids, their intention is to put players against a Boss in a separate instance.

It will work like any other video game on the market that has raids, with up to three people teaming up and contributing to the extinction of health points of the primary target. Team Raids will share a collective number of five lives, allowing players to recover out of 4 failures, with the five being crucial.

The new game mode was announced during Kombat Kast. Below you can find the video with a much thorough explanation of the upcoming game mode, Team Raids.
