Pokemon Go New EX Raid Boss after November 12

Update November 11, 2019: Trainers who received an EX Raid Pass on November 9th PT will encounter Regigigas in their scheduled EX Raid! If you received an EX Raid Pass prior to that date, you will encounter Mewtwo.

Update: The Pokemon Company has now removed the date from the official website. They probably weren’t supposed to release info like that.

Previous Story: Trainers, according to The Pokemon Company, Mewtwo will be staying as an EX Raid Boss until November 12, 2019, which means that a new Legendary Pokemon will most likely be taking over EX Raids sometime after November 12.

The Pokemon Company shared an article on their official website, confirming that Shiny Shadow Ball Mewtwo is coming to EX Raids for a limited time and after November 12, 2019, a new Legendary Pokemon will be available as an EX Raid Boss. They didn’t share any details about which Pokemon will be the next EX Raid Boss at this moment, and we hope to see an announcement very soon.

According to rumors, the Normal Type Legendary Gen 4 Pokemon Regigigas might be the next EX Raid Boss, but that’s only rumored for now. We would definitely like to see Regigigas as the new EX Raid Boss!

The Pokemon Company explained how one can receive an EX Raid Pass, so check it out below.

EX Raid Battles are only available to Trainers who receive an invitation to compete. You can become eligible to receive an EX Raid Pass when you win a Raid Battle at a qualifying Gym. You’ll be able to see which Gyms can host EX Raids through a handy tag when you look at the Gym details. EX Raid Passes will give you the date and time when you’ll be able to challenge the Legendary Pokemon.
